Round 8 GPS Cricket for TSS was a challenge round and a chance to enjoy participation in a great day of cricket. Many TSS Teams played against a range of opponents including Downlands College, Xavier College, GT, BGS, Churchie and TSS Old Boy’s. TSS managed to win a host of games and for a good cause raising funds for Pink Stumps Day.

TSS 1st XI played a formidable Old Boys side consisting of many 1st grade players. TSS Old Boys batted first and compiled a total of 192. TSS caught well and Ellis McCarthy topped off a good week with a 5 wicket haul. In reply, the Old Boys bowled well early with Old Boy's Matt Dalton and Sam Yabsley sending thunderbolts down but the composed batting of Ishaan and Cameron upfront put 1st XI in a strong position to win back the Bill King Trophy in 2024 in 33 overs. Congratulations on a brilliant match played in the right spirit of TSS cricket.

TSS take on Churchie next week on the Village Green for the GPS 1st premiership.

The Whack Sport & EV Chargers- Teams of the week this week is the 7A Team who are improving every week to take home their first win of the season and 9A's who put in an excellent showing against a Yr11 Xavier College Team on Friday afternoon.
