Very hard today to play the Tikki Takka style on a uneven pitch but our boys found a way to create numerous chances and put 7 past a well organised team and only concede 1.

Baron’s best moment in goals was a save from a powerful shot heading top bins ??.

Archie is currently in his ice bath ?? repairing his muscles from tackle after tackle, always putting his body on the line.

His mate Darcy is learning the art ?? of closing down the strikers and making good decisions not to dive in but to wait for the right time to win the ball ?, Darcy prefers to use his smarts ??. 2 different styles of defending and equally effective, what a good little partnership they have.

Max absolutely bossed the midfield today with another hat ?? trick, what a free kick ??????? Nearly burst the net.

Tommy’s awareness and composure to control the ball and pass to his team mates feet was exceptional today, part of my pre game instructions to the boys were to make good decisions and Tommy’s completion rate was very high today.

I asked the boys to start well and take our opportunities as every time we play here Ormeau find another gear, Santiago banged in 2 goals and gave Red Team the start I was after, Santiago’s vision to play in his striker today was next level and it’s like having 2 centre midfield playmakers at the same time with Santi and Max.

Hard work, dedication and “The Want”, the want to do extra training, to listen, to learn, these are the key components to Nate’s success today, rewarded with 2 goals. Well done champ.

Last but certainly not least, this Legend “Coley”. Pre game I say to Coley, mate I’m playing you a full game today in Oscar’s position of Left Mid. He had a little rest cause he was absolutely stuffed from putting in a massive effort up and down the train ?? tracks in the first half. Plenty of touches on the ball and snapped up the Crust ?? Player of the Day Award ??, Well done Coley ????

Our second half was perfect. As a coach, it was impressive to see the boys listen and regroup at half time and they put Ormeau to the Sword ?? adding another 5 goals and not conceding.

WOW ?? ???????

Overall magnificent performance ?????????????!!!!!!!!

Well done TSS U9 Red!!!
